Washington based T-Mobile USA, Inc. is offering the T-Mobile G2 and the Sidekick 4G smartphones during its After Hours special night, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. for free. The offer is valid for today only.
But to make use of this offer, you have to sign a new two year contract. T-Mobile announced about the “Insomnia Sale” on Twitter.
If you were reluctant to join T-Mobile due to the looming acquisition by AT&T, the current offers may be a good reason to sway you.
The T-Mobile G2 is an Android 2.2 Froyo-powered smartphone sporting a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 5-megapixel camera. It captures videos in 720p, and a 800 x 480p 3.7-inch display. The Sidekick has a spring-loaded QWERTY keyboard, a rear and front-facing camera, and runs Android 2.2 Froyo.
Otherwise, G2 is available at $150 through T-Mobile while’s Samsung’s Sidekick 4G retails for $100 through the Magenta carrier.
