Chillingo’s Clickgamer is out with its latest game on the app store called ‘Spider Jack.’ Probably inspired by the Cut The Rope gameplay, in this game you have to help the spider catch the flies to fill his appetite.
The spider swings around its own thread and while doing so faces lot of hurdles which are scattered in the environment, including dropping to your doom and electric waves, that will prevent him from reaching his final goal. Along the way there are items to collect – like stars – which will improve your rating. Colleting more stars means more points you achieve.
At every level, Spider Jack’s movement will depend on where the web is positioned – like he may just tangles down or starts swinging from left to right. Now you have to use your maneuverability to drop him to the fly by means of cutting the web with your finger. You can only do this when he is exactly above the fly.
It is an addictive game with some adorable graphic and you will certainly like the background scenery at every level of the game. During the course of the game, you may particularly like environments such as abandoned barns and mad science labs. After you clear certain stages, you will also need to use two webs to swing Jack to his goal.
The entire gameplay depends upon how good is your finger movement and the accurate cut of the rope web.
To test your expertise you will be given 75 levels with level having its certain set to difficulty to keep you glued. The collection of stars is also another added feature which is available in similar other games. Spider Jack has Game Center support for leaderboards and achievements, and developer Clickgamer.com promises updates with more levels to come.
