For those who want their iPad 2 to look and function like a netbook, ClamCase is back with a redesigned version of its case / battery powered Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard combo.

The iPad 2 specific makeover has made the device lighter, sleeker and now has few added features which enhances its value. The changes have been done to support the slimmer body of iPad 2 and there are cutouts for the back facing digital camera and the lower bottom speaker. It has also integrated magnets to awaken and sleep your tablet when the case is opened or closed.
The device’s patented 360 degrees rotating hinge is what makes it unique as it allows you to fold the keyboard on the back of the iPad 2 and open up the screen just like a normal notebook.

The keyboard features wireless connectivity via Bluetooth with Easy Sync, which connects the keyboard automatically once you wake up the iPad. The company claims the battery life of up to 100 days in standby.

The keyboard also provides buttons like buttons are Home, Lock, Search, Slideshow, Volume and Media controls, which take advantage of iOS specific functionality.

Users also get a Caps Lock led, two Shift keys and a battery indicator for current charge status.

The ClamCase is now available for order through the ClamCase online store at $149.
