A Facebook user in The Netherlands has given Facebook friendship a whole new meaning by having profile images of her friends tattooed onto her arm.
The woman filmed herself getting the tattoo and posted the video on YouTube.
"After months of work I want to show you all my social Tattoo. Pretty amazing right?" says YouTube user susyj87. "I'm really proud of it. Hope you like it too!"
To engrave the tattoo, the Facebook enthusiast took the help of Rotterdam-based tattoo artist, Dehvyathe Xaviera Moelker, also known as Dex. Moelker calls it a real ‘social tattoo’ on her website.
Engraving a tattoo onto arm was first started by rapper T-Pain who had a Facebook tattoo on his arm that read, ‘You don’t have to like me’. Similarly, an Israeli couple named their baby girl after Facebook's "Like" button.
It looks like a great idea to remember all of your friends and it could prove handy when you leave your smartphone home, but it may be a pain when you unfriend someone. Also, what about when you suddenly find that one of your friend has been a fraudster.
