The new iPad— in Apple’s own words — is revolutionary and resolutionary, but reports in some tech websites suggest that it is not all that perfect.

According to the Daily Mirror, a lot of customers are complaining via message boards that Apple’s third generation iPad is overheating, especially in the lower left-hand corner when holding the iPad upright in portrait mode.

On such thread called ‘New iPad overheating’ on Apple website has received a lot of responses and had been viewed over 10,000 times.

Some users are claiming that the new iPad is hotter than previous versions and it needs to “cool down” when they use it for long periods of time.

However, it is still not clear how serious the problem is and unless discovered to be widespread, the problem may not dent sales of the tablet.
