The iPad 2 is already a big hit and most of us using it are pretty much satisfied. But if you are planning to buy one, then Apple has good news for you. The company is quietly delivering upgrades to the hardware of the iPad 2.
Apple has upgraded the dual-core processor SoC from a 45nm fabrication to a 32nm fabrication process. This means that the tablet would be able to deliver more power. The new iPad 2 SoC will power the tablet for 30 percent longer while running games, 18 per cent while playing videos and 15 percent while using the iPad 2 to browse the web.
However, as reported by few tech sites, it is hard to identify that unless you crack open the shell and run some tests, so you have to wait a bit longer to get your hands on a slightly superior iPad 2.
