Popular game maker Rovio is back with the “next big thing” in the Angry Birds space. In this new title, the fiery avians will take on the role of the characters featured in the Star Wars.
The Finnish mobile gaming giant posted a teaser image, that featured one of its irate winged beasts donning Jedi robes and and wielding a lightsaber.
The Jedi-themed animation showed a shadowy, still image wearing a hooded lump holding the lightsaber. No details were mentioned about what is being offered, but instead the tweet instructed users to visit Times Square at 10 a.m. Eastern on Monday. In addition it is believed that the company has partnered with 50 licensees to introduce a franchise of products including toys for kids.
