Acer announces Iconia B1-A71 Jelly Bean tablet that’s easy on the wallet

Acer has official announced the Iconia B1-A71 tablet targeted at young and new users. It’s a 7-inch tablet that is suitable for playing games, web browsing, e-reading and watching videos.


The Iconia B1-A71 is equipped with a 7-inch WSVGA capacitive multitouch display and is powered by the Mediatek dual-core 1.2GHz processor (MTK 8317T) alongside 512MB RAM. The tablet comes with 8GB internal storage, expandable by 32GB using the microSD slot. The B1-A71 runs on Android Jelly Bean and costs less than $150 (approx. Rs 8,250).

The company has not announced when the tablet will be available to users in the market.
