Samsung's big keynote presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show this year was concentrated mainly on the introduction of televisions. The South Korean electronics giant introduced its new Smart Hub TV center that it says will help make the television watching experience more intuitive and easier to navigate.
The Smart Hub acts like a dynamic TV guide and offers a personalized experience (in five panels) for TV shows and movies. A panel is particularly devoted for users to sort through photos, videos, and music that are stored on the device or elsewhere, in addition to pulling in media from social networks.
You can integrate the Smart Hub with Skype, thus making conferencing a lot easier. There’s also a panel for Samsung Smart TV apps.
The TV is super-slick and eye-catching: its edges are so thin that they just look like screens hovering in the air.
