Nikon has unveiled a new monster to its line of world class professional photography cameras. Nikon’s new 800mm f/5.6 FL ED VR behemoth has the longest focal length in its range of optic.
The longer FX full-frame-compatible lens has an angle of view of around 3° and is highly suitable for wildlife photographers, paparazzi enthusiasts and sports fans all over the world. It provides a crop-factor-enduced effective focal length of 1200mm when used on popular DX Nikon D-SLR models.
It weighs less than a pound and comes with a heavy price tag of $17,900.
