The upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, jOBS, starring Ashton Kutcher, is now set for an April 2013 release in cinemas.

Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad play Jobs and Wozniak in the upcoming movie, jOBS. The movie has been picked up by distributor Open Road Films and officially premieres at Sundance on closing night, January 27.

The movie takes a look at late Steve Jobs’ life from 1971 to 2000. Besides Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad, Matthew Modine will also be seen as ex-Apple CEO John Sculley, Giles Matthey as Jony Ive and Ahna O'Reilly as Jobs' ex-girlfriend Chris-Ann Brennan.

In order to understand the life and story of the late tech mogul, both Aston and Josh Gad spent hundreds of hours watching footage of both founders, and also visited Steve Jobs’ boyhood home. Gad, said he read autobiographies, biographies, listened to interviews as he went to sleep. I lived, breathed, and slept Wozniak.

They said the clip of Steve Jobs’ first interview from 1978, was pretty interesting.

It is being said that Jobs worked very hard to refine his onstage personality as by the time of Macintosh launch in 1984, he became more confident and charismatic. At the time of presenting the young generation his greatest presentation – the iPhone – he was clear, inspiring, passionate and polished. Jobs improved on his presentation skills through effortless practice which he did for many hours in the weeks preceding the launch.
