Samsung cuts price of Galaxy camera in India

Samsung has cut the price of its Galaxy camera by Rs 3,880 to Rs 26,520. The company is also offering a free battery charging kit with the device in the country. It is a Android based Wi-Fi+3G enabled camera which the company launched in November last year. The Samsung Galaxy camera's Wi-Fi-only competitor Nikon S800c is priced at Rs 20,950.


The camera sports 4.8-inch touchscreen, is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, has 1GB RAM, a 1,650mAh battery and supports sim-card for 3G connectivity. The gadget supports sim-card for 3G connectivity and can also access the internet over Wi-Fi.

Samsung Galaxy Camera has digital and optical zoom of 21x each along with a BSI CMOS sensor. Some of the prominent features of the camera include optical image stabilization, auto-focus (centre, multi and Face Detection) along with Instagram, Paper Artist, Dropbox, Photo Wizard, Video Editor, AllShare Play, S-Suggest and S-Voice. The Wi-Fi version of the camera was recently introduced by the company which is said is more affordable than the 3G version.
