Samsung's new large screen smartphone - Galaxy Mega 6.3 is now available for pre-orders on retail stores like Flipkart. The retailers has listed the Galaxy Mega 6.3 for Rs 30,990 and noted that the arrival is expected in the last week of this month.
The phone is also valid for the company’s Own Now offer, so if you buy the phone, you can get EMI (for 6 or 12 months) without any processing fee or down payment.
The Galaxy Mega 6.3 comes with a 6.3-inch display and packs dual-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 mobile processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. The device’s screen offers a 1280x720 pixel resolution, which offers fairly nice view of the icons, text and visuals. The memory card slot can accommodate up to 64 GB micro SD card. By default, the smartphone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with a layer of Nature UX on it.
It has a 8 megapixel camera with LED flash at the back to click high quality photos and record videos. On the front, it has a 1.9 megapixel shooter for HD video and self portraits. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with support for A-GPS and GLONASS, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and digital compass.
The smartphones comes with a beefy 3200 mAh battery which the company says can last for more than a day at a moderate to normal usage.
