Verizon Stores selling original iPads at $200 discounts

By: Aseem Gaurav, March 25, 2011 (New Delhi)

Verizon’s corporate owned stores are selling the first-generation iPad at a very heavy discount – on all the WiFi models. The 16GB model is now retailing for $299.99 (a full $200 off from its pre-iPad 2 launch price).

Verizon is also offering the 32GB and 64GB models at $399.99 and $499.99 respectively. The idea behind giving such huge discounts is to clear out remaining stocks of iPad.

Consumers can avail these deals at Verizon’s corporate-owned retail stores (as opposed to the franchised locations) for as long as stock holds out.

The deals are for the devices alone, and don’t require any kind of contract or data plan purchase, says reports.

I must say that though you may get the latest version of iPad but at these reduced prices, these are not at all bad bargains. So if you really looking out to own a great piece of technology then it may be just the right time for.
