Rihanna has dethroned Lady Gaga's massive Facebook following to become the new "Queen" of the social networking site.
According to famecount.com, a social media statistics service, Rihanna is now the most-liked female star on the site, racking up more than 40,564,905 ‘likes’ compared to GaGa's 40,543,536.
Rihanna’s online popularity has been dramatic and unprecedented given that she had only 5,000 Facebook fans one year ago. However, she has a significantly smaller 6.1 million people watching her tweets.
Earlier, Rihanna became the fourth artist to ever reach 1 billion views on YouTube where she is currently the third most viewed artist.
Rihanna and Lady Gaga are followed by pop star Justin Bieber, who has an impressive 37,965,676 liking his page.
However, Gaga still rules over Twitter.com with over 11.6 million followers.
