Keeping your gadgets going with power is a tricky and costly business, but iPad is an exception.
According to the Electric Power Research Institute, a group funded by electric utilities, the annual cost to charge an iPad is just $1.36. The results indicates that the iPad doesn't put heavy pressure on electricity consumption – a stark contrast when compared with the fact that a desktop PC costs up to $28.21 to run and a refrigerator about $65.72 in the U.S.
This also means if the consumers start using iPads instead of other means like: television, desktops, then it could considerably decrease the power consumption.
