Selective color photography app Color Splash Studio comes to iPhone

By: Aseem Gaurav on June 8, 2012

MacPhun has launched a great photo manipulation tool for iOS. The new app, called Color Splash Studio, lets you select portions of the image that you want to fill color in.

Although it is quite easy to do so in Adobe Photoshop, the app enables to make it possible with the touch of a finger. All you need to do is pick up a brush and swipe over the portion and there you have it. For precise and accurate strokes just enlarge the image. You can also use a number of tools to further customize your photos like contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue.

There is also the option to apply various filters (like sepia) to your background, which will add value to photo. The final photos can then be shared to social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr. You can even export pictures to Instagram and FX Photo Studio, or send a postcard to anywhere in the world.

The app is available at a cost of $0.99.
