Apple has added a new feature to its online store. It now let users receive a text message alert notification on orders placed.
The company will send a text message once their order shops or is ready for pickup at a retail store. The new feature is available to the following careers: Nextel, Alltel, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless, and Virgin Mobile USA.
The service is in addition to the e-mail notification that allows users to track their orders.
Apple further said, the text message will be sent only between 8:00am and 9:00pm in your time zone, meaning your sleep won’t be disrupted.
