Mophie, the company known for Juice Pack lineup of iPhone extended battery cases, has now come out with a new case and mounting system that will turn the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S into a rugged and waterproof sports camera.

The case, titled Mophie Outride, is built from lightweight polycarbonate that gives it a solid built and the flexibility to use at different angles. The case has a modular quick-release mounting system, and an integrated wide-angle lens, which makes it perfect to record and share tricks and rides in settings ranging from water to dirt and concrete, using the iPhone. The mounting system, which perfectly fits into a variety of sports equipment, makes it possible for consumers to record at numerous angles.

“Outride gives the action sports community the ability to share videos in real time in a durable, compact and cost-effective way. You can now review your own footage or shots, share those moments and follow others in the community, instantly. The case has a 170° wide-angle lens designed specifically to capture action shots,” said Ross Howe, vice president of marketing at mophie.

Outride also comes with a free app, which allows you to edit and share videos. The case is going to be launched in September and will sell in bundles priced at $129.95 up to $149.95.
