Have you ever wanted to participate in the Olympics? Now you can! Play the new athletics-themed iOS game titled Finger Olympic from Fingerway.
It is an interactive game that allows you to participate in four different categories of Olympic Games as ‘DIGIT,’ the leading computer character that competes against four funny finger opponents: Thumby, Pinky, Yubi and Toe.
It is simple game but you need to apply some strategy if you want to secure some medals. First keep in mind that your athlete is just a finger and you need to tap your finger as much you can to let ‘DIGIT’ cover long distances in the shortest possible time. In each level maintain his speed wisely, in order to save some energy.
The controls of the game are given at the lower left and right corner of the screen in form of thumb prints. In some events you may also need to tap another button to perform an action — jumping a hurdle or throwing a javelin, for example. Besides controls, the game also scores high in terms of animations and comic appeal.
The levels get increasingly difficult as you need to beat the rest of three players in order to secure gold in one single event. After successful completion, players can share their results with the world using Game Center on Twitter or Facebook. Users can also promote the game by sending an email to their friends from the main menu screen.
Although the game offer limited experience in terms of overall engagement, it is an addictive game which has rightly seen a spurt in popularity ever since the Olympics Games have begun.
