Just two and a half years after launching the iPad series of computer tablets, Apple said it has already crossed 100 million mark.
Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook said the company sold more iPads in the June quarter than any other PC player. He also said the sales are "unprecedented for a new product in a new category."
Cook also made reference to the study which said that the iPad makes up 91 per cent of all tablets when it comes to web traffic. He added that education use has a lot to do with that statistic.
