Archos offers Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad

By: iPadfanzz staff on January 27, 2013

Archos has started selling the new Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad that works with all the 9.7-inch iPads (except the first generation).

It is a stylish and thin (0.2-inches aka 5mm) magnetic Bluetooth full QWERTY keyboard that comes fitted with a kickstand and looks great. The kickstand is adjustable so that you make necessary changes to it to fit your viewing angle. The cover comes with a magnetic bonding to house the iPad securely. Other features include the automatic screen switch on/off Function, meaning your tablet will turn on and off when you attach or remove the iPad from the keyboard.

Created by a newly minted division in Archos, the new product has a similar look and feel to the Archos Gen10 XS coverboard, where the Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad remains extremely thin.

"The needs and wants of today's consumer have changed drastically over the past few years. Consumers expect everything to be smaller, faster, thinner, lighter and aesthetically pleasing," says Henri Crohas, Founder and CEO of ARCHOS. "In order to meet this demand we feel that we should share our innovation and design across a number of different platforms."

The iPad owners can purchase this case in March for $79. Archos is a French consumer electronics company that manufactures tablets, eReaders, MP3 players, media players, and notebooks.
