HCL launches ME Y3 dual-SIM tablet for Rs 11,999

Expanding its tablet range in the price sensitive Indian market, HCL has launched ME Y3 dual-SIM tablet in the Indian market. The tablet is now available from online retailers like Saholic and Snapdeal.


ME Y3 is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. The tablet sports a 7-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The RAM can be expanded to 32GB via microSD card.

The HCL ME Y3 tablet comes with 2-megapixel camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel one in the front. Connectivity options include, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The good feature about the tablet is that you can make voice calls from both the SIMs and also listen to FM radio. It comes with a 3,100mAh battery which can give you long hours for multi-media consumption, video calling, movie viewing and web surfing.

Of late, there has been a spurt of dual-SIM tablets in the country with Swipe telecom coming out the its All-in-one tablet for Rs 11,999 and later iBall releasing its Slide 7334 3G tablet in India for Rs.10,990.
