The legendary iPhone hacker George Hotz is all set to launch a new iPhone app called Reactions.
Hotz, well known for his widely publicized hacks of the iPhone and Playstation 3, said the idea behind the app was to design something different. Reactions is different in that it uses both the front- and rear-facing cameras of the iPhone in order to capture both views at once — in the same image.
The app is photo sharing with a twist. The app takes a photo of you along with whatever picture you’re clicking. The iPhone’s front and rear cameras are utilized at once. So instead of just seeing your cappuccino, your friends can see how you feel about your bike ride.
The app is good for extreme social sharing and once each two-way photo is taken, it will be published to your Facebook account.
Reactions is currently going through Apple’s approval process, and should be arriving in the iTunes App Store shortly.
