The Tylt Vu inductive charger, demoed at CES earlier this year, is slated to be released on April 1 for $70.
The Tylt Vu is both a Qi-compatible (phone/tablet) inductive charger that works on the Qi standard and a phone stand. It serves the two purposes: it can wirelessly charge your phone such as Google Nexus 4, Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820, Nokia Lumia 822, Nokia Lumia 810 and the HTC DROID DNA to name a few.
The charger also stands your phone in both lanscape and portrait mode at an angle perfect for media consumption and reference. The Vu has a built-in wireless charging system, that can 1A at 19V, which is plenty for most current smartphones.
You can easily use the device by laying the device right in place. The good part about the charger is that since the phone is actually seated upright so that you can still see the phone’s display. At CES, the Tylt was demoed with the Nexus 4.
The Tylt Vu contains several strategically placed inductive charging coils throughout the frame of the stand which means that your handset will get a stronger signal while charging, and therefore will charge more quickly.he Vu is available in four colours — red, black, blue and yellow — and will have a one-year warranty.
