Out of the many fashion moments that had micro-blogging site Twitter and backstage buzzing was Jennifer Lopez’s flesh-baring, Dr. John’s kooky costume, and Jay-Z’s joke about singer The-Dream’s hat.
"I would like to thank the swap meet for his hat," Jay-Z jokingly said to singer The-Dream at the end of their acceptance speech for Best Rap Collaboration at the 55th Grammy Awards.
Jay-Z, who was collecting his 17th trophy, said jokingly about the “Boyz N the Hood” cap that looked inspired by the Slauson Swap Meet.
“Everybody’s asking. He likes to make fun of me,” The-Dream said before revealing that he got the cap at mall retailer Spencer’s. Here’s what rocked the Twitter:
