Samsung will raise the curtain on its new Galaxy S IV on March 14 and if rumour mill is to be believed then the new handset will have some intriguing features that will sure to mesmerize its users.
One of the most interesting specifications of S IV will be eye-scrolling navigation, which enables the phone to follow the user’s eye movements when to scroll text. For example, if a user stares at the middle of an article, then the phone would scroll the article down to reveal the next paragraphs.
It is said that Samsung has already for trademarks similar to Eye Scroll on both sides of the Atlantic. This is an apt indication that the technology giant has started focusing more on software rather than hardware. It may be remembered that eye navigation rumours are not new for a Galaxy model, as it was the same case with Galaxy SIII, but what actually came out was a face-recognition feature that keeps the handset’s screen bright as long as there’s a face in front of it.
The @evleaks Twitter account, reliable account in the past, has also posted a supposed picture with specifications of the phone. The image depicts the phone to have a super AMOLED Full HD screen of unknown size, 16GB/32GB/64GB storage options with 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera and Android 4.2 OS.
Those Galaxy S fans who were hoping that the new handset would carry premium quality in terms of built, may get disappointed, since the rumor mill says the S4 will be primarily constructed of plastic, giving it a less-than-premium feel.
It is still not clear about what processor the smartphone would carry but Galaxy watchers say the new model will have Samsung's Exynos 5 OCTA 8-core chip, which doesn't support LTE, while others predict it will run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 processor, which does support LTE.
It will be interesting to see what the 2013′s most heavily rumored smartphone will have to offer to its users.
