After months of teasing, Daft Punk has finally released the first song off their fourth album Random Access Memories for download through iTunes. The song titled "Get Lucky" is topping the charts on iTunes in both France and the UK, and number three in the US. On Spotify, the song has set a record for "biggest streaming day for a single track" in both the US and UK.
Get Lucky features vocals from Pharrell and guitar courtesy of disco legend Nile Rodgers.
The album is set for release on May 21 via Daft Life Limited, an imprint of Columbia Records.
Random Access Memories will be Daft Punk’s first full-length LP since 2005’s album Human After All. However, the guys have been busy since then, producing the live album Alive 2007 and the Tron: Legacy soundtrack.
