Accessory maker Rain Design has come out with its new iOS stand called the iSlider. It’s a lightweight stand built from from Anodized sand blasted aluminum and can easily stand that can hold an iPad or iPhone. The stand is aesthetically pleasing and portable for both indoor and outdoor uses.
Its dimensions are 5.5 x 3 x 1-in (140 x 77 x 25.4 mm) and it works with the iPad in either horizontal or vertical mode.
On the outside, the iSlider looks and feels like a hollow aluminium box. At one end of the box is you’ll find a black compartment, which a combination of black metal, plastic, and rubber components that hide inside iSlider until they’re needed. When pulled outside you’ll see two metal bars extend a metal and plastic iPad-holding frame, to firmly hold the tablet or iPhone. The iPad holder has a hole in the bottom for connecting a charging cable.
There are plastic ridged behind the iPad holder which lets users to push the holder backwards, thus giving the iPad viewers a choice of 18 angles that range from a gentle video-ready recline to a horizontal typing-ready position. Thus, the iSlider gives enough choices to the users to practically every possible they can choose from. The iSlider also comes with a set of non-skid feet on the bottom keep the iPad and iSlider from ... well, sliding.
What makes iSlider unique is that it is a nice match for your Apple devices and looks perfectly at home on a desk with your MacBook or iMac. Given that the stand doesn’t offer any bulk, you can carry it in pockets of your bag to anywhere you want.
