A new rumor suggests that Apple's upcoming handset iPhone 5S will be offered in multiple colours like its iPod touch line. The report by Japan-based publication Macotakara echoes what analysts have been saying over the last few months.
Macotakara says the iPhone 5S will come in five colors, including the black. The colour spefication are not out yet, but given the colours of the iPod touch line, the following sounds likely: black, white, pink, yellow, and blue.
The iPhone 5S is rumoured to come with an upgraded camera, processor, and the possibility of finger print scanning. Having multiple device colours may be an interesting way for Apple to market a somewhat colour-less device.
At the same time, the Cupertino-based Apple is also expected to launch an entry-level iteration of the iPhone in a possible bid to compete with cheap Android models. It is believed that the low-cost iPhone version will boast the same design as the iPhone 5, including the handset's 4-inch screen.
