CPU-Z is a popular software for Windows, which offers information to find out what sort of CPU is installed on your system. It gives you detailed information about the computer's processor, mainboard, and other hardware related information.

A beta version of the popular program is now available on Google Play which is compatible with all versions of the operating system from 3.0 on.

At its start page, the app displays information regarding the processor. You can either swipe to the right or left to browse the available menus. The app displays information under four menus: SOC, System, Battery and Sensors.

1. SOC: Get information regarding the processor and graphics processing unit including name and architecture, cores, revision and clock speeds.

2. System: It gives you information regarding the Kernel, Ram and storage, as well as hardware, Android version and display and hardware serial numbers.

3. Battery: It also shows temperature and voltage.

4. Sensors: The device supported sensors are displayed under this option. This may include information retrieved by the light and proximity sensor among others.

It is a beta version on the other hand and it is likely that it will be improved over time. The app comes with an option to send debug information to the developer which you can use to report issues you have encountered in CPU-Z.
