This is what iOS 7 looks like on the iPad and iPad mini

Apple has just unveiled a new version of iOS, the iOS 7, the software that powers its mobile devices, for a fall release. The newly redesigned interface of iOS 7 represented a major shift of the company’s aesthetic to give the icons a flattened look. iOS 7 will be available on the iPhone 4 and newer, iPad 2 and newer, iPad Mini and the fifth-generation of iPod Touch, starting in the fall. Developers can start playing with a beta version of the new operating system.

In iOS 7, an active home screen features a new, 3D-like experience when you move the phone around and a semi-translucent keyboard. Swiping up from the bottom of the device brings up the Control Center, which allows users to manage several controls such as turning Wi-Fi on and off, opening apps, changing the screen's brightness and using Flashlight -- potentially killing off existing third-party flashlight apps.

However, in demonstrations, the iOS 7 presentation only looked at the iPhone. The iPad and iPad mini, two hugely influential devices for the company, were given little attention in the various demonstrations and slides.

Recently, website 9to5Mac recently released screenshots of iOS 7 on iPad Mini. And as one would expect, the layout in the iPad remain the same as it is on the iPhone. All of the new app designs are present, however, in addition to Apple’s shiny new wallpaper.
