Halfbrick, the acclaimed Aussie developer behind highly popular games like Fruit Ninja, has decided to slash the prices of the game for iPad by 66 per cent to $0.99. Earlier it was selling for a modest price of $2.99.

Fruit Ninja is one of the most popular apps on the iOS App Store since its release. Its gameplay is simple as you have to swipe your fingers across the falling fruit to slash and splatter fruit while avoiding bombs. The game supports slashing with up to eight fingers at a time. It's an addictive game and looks great on the large screen of iPad. The best part about it that the more I play it, the more I want to play it.

I am sure that for just under $1, you won’t be disappointed.
