Moshi iGlaze with VersaCover: An origami-inspired iPad case

By: Aseem Gaurav on July 5, 2012

Moshi’s latest offering – iGlaze with VersaCover – is a new origami-style iPad case that offers the simplicity of an open and closed magnetic cover and doubles as a multi-functional stand.

Moshi, which is known for its fashionable accessories for tech gadgets, has designed the case intelligently to give users convenience, style and protection, for both iPad 2 and iPad 3.

iGlaze’s core strength is a hard shell on the back that is made up of polycarbonate to give comprehensive strength to the case. But the highlight of the case is a microfiber cover, which comes with a built in magnet to support the auto-wake/sleep feature of the iPad. The microfiber consists of horizontal and diagonal folds that work together to form a triangle and act as an easel. Thus you can easily prop up the tablet in both landscape and portrait mode to use it for purposes like – video watching, reading e-books, or viewing other content. In order to type on the iPad, you have to set VersaCover as a great angle.

Folding the cover doesn’t take time as all you need to do is pinch the cover at the right spot to get the right fold.

The case, competitively priced at $60, offers a good option to users who are looking to purchase a chase within their budget. The case is available in three colors – black, white and translucent.
