Review: Addo Slate Shield case for iPad

By: Aseem Gaurav on July 1, 2012

The Addo Slate Shield Case for iPad is a hard and innovative case that offers solid protection for your iPad. You can easily fit the tablet inside the Slate Shield case by sliding the iPad in and sealing the velcro after that.

At the back of the case, there is a hand strap attached to it, which is connected to a 360 degree swivel, which helps you easily rotate the tablet from landscape to portrait mode. This makes it a very good fit for small group presentations especially for doctors and working professionals. Say, you and your office collegues are sitting at the reception hall of a hotel and there’s an all important presentation that you have to make. All you have to do is take out the case from your bag and insert your hand inside the strap and that’s it.

The Slate Shield Case also comes with a kickstand on the backside that makes it easy for you to prop you slate up and view the device in landscape, portrait and typing modes, making it convenient for web browsing, movies and e-mail composing.

The exterior of the case is made of tough and durable reinforced ABS plastic, the same material used in NFL Players football helmets, which easily makes it withstand a hard fall. You can pair the device with a PPC Techs WriteShield screen protector with Anti-Glare technology in order to offer your device complete protection.

Also, searching out for all ports and buttons is a no problem here, as all of them are easily available. Overall, it is a nice case that is not bulky and is idea for outdoor presentations.

The case is compatible with iPad 2 and iPad 3 and is available for $46.22.
