It’s a full-HD smartphone for those who really want the best panel in the market. Mighty powerful, the phone comes with a quad-core 1.5 GHZ processor along with a 5-inch Super LCD 1920x1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The screen offers a pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch.
It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB. The device runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a layer of HTC Sense 4+. It has a 8MP auto focus camera with a 28mm lens and F2.0 aperture, BSI sensor and LED flash, 1080p HD video recording and a 2.1 MP 1080p front-facing camera. HTC's VideoPic technology allows you to capture photos while shooting video. You can also shoot up to 99 images in the continuous shooting mode, at four frames per second. The Butterfly comes with Beats Audio technology, that "delivers crystal clear sound with less distortion, even at maximum volume".
Connectivity include 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, HDMI via MHL, GPS + GLONASS and a 2020 mAh battery.
The HTC Butterfly gives excellent color reproduction, as 440ppi resolution is simply astonishing. The phone has 9.1 mm of thinness and its slim bezel makes it surprisingly compact – thus making it easily pocketable. In addition, the Butterfly's 2,020mAh battery is above average in capacity.
